The Population Association of Pakistan (PAP) is an independent, non-profit academic society registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860, uniting demographers, sociologists, public health specialists, and institutional researchers.
Our Professional Community
Established to foster scientific demographic enquiry, PAP brings together over 400 professional demographers, academic researchers, and social sector leaders alongside more than 30 institutional partners across Pakistan. Our members work across leading universities, research think tanks, and public health departments.
